Ford's Ranger has been the best-selling compact truck for 17 years. Best-seller compact truck for 18 years now is Ford's Ranger. For 2006, Ranger shows revamped sheetmetal with an aggressive prow and rugged fender flares on flanks. In all, Ranger splits this year into trims of XL, STX, XLT, Sport, FX4 and FX4 Level II, with cab styles of two-door Regular Cab plus two-door or four-door SuperCab.
